Light Up the Park 2023

A Community of Ideals, The Ideal Community!
As you will have heard by now, both Nick Sochaski and Ashten Hiebert have resigned from council. On behalf of all council, we want to thank them for their service to the community.
Both Nick and Ashten were valuable members of council, serving as well as on various committees / boards in our community and beyond. While we support them in their decisions to step away from council, their voices have definitely been missed.
On behalf of the mayor and remaining council members, thank you Nick and Ashten for the giving of your time and energy in this way!
This brings us to the upcoming Municipal By-Election on September 20, 2023. We have two positions to fill.
The strong turnout’s at both our February Town Hall meeting and our spring referendum showed us that Waldheim residents are VERY engaged and interested in what is happening in our community, and the direction we are heading.
SO, if you are one of those engaged residents that want to step up and participate in setting the direction for our town (or if you know someone who would want to), the deadline for nominations has been extended to August 30th.
Nomination forms are available at the Town Office.
