Town Of Waldheim Community Survey

January 15, 2023 By Town Of Waldheim

We think Waldheim is a pretty amazing place and full of amazing people!  You don’t need go far to experience its many great amenities and friendly smiles.   This community was built by people who desired to see Waldheim succeed and it was through their efforts that we are here today enjoying the fruits of their labor…and their good decisions.

We hope to continue in those footsteps and desire to see what the future has for our community but in order to make good decisions, we first need to hear from you.  This survey is your opportunity to help build into the Town of Waldheim.  Your Town Council will utilize this information in their decision making so that Waldheim continues to be an exceptional place to live.

Please follow this link where you will find a 5-10 minute survey.  Thank you for taking this time to help build our community!

First Responders Appreciation

September 7, 2022 By Town Of Waldheim

The Health, Wellness and Protection Committee, on behalf of Waldheim Town Council, would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation for our First Responder team.

The professional and effective way our first responder teams have performed during some significant fire and medical incidents in our communities over the last few months has been amazing!

And the WFR’s level of professionalism and effectiveness is not new. In recent meetings with representatives of council and fire departments from Laird, Hepburn and the RM Of Laird, comments were made several times about how well our WFR has responded to emergencies in the surrounding municipalities over the years!

This reputation is well deserved, and reflects the committment that our volunteer team members have

  • to be available to respond to emergencies understanding there is always a personal risk, both physical and mental
  • to regular training to be prepared for every scenario
  • to being part of a team, where each team member can be trusted to know and execute their roles in those emergency situations!

So, on behalf of Waldheim Town Council, and of all the residents of Waldheim, to each WFR team member we say thank you! Thank you for volunteering your time, your energy, and thank you for your willingness to serve your community and surrounding area!

Water Main Flushing

July 11, 2022 By Melissa Kobylak

Public works will be flushing water mains starting Wednesday July 13, for approximately 2 weeks.

Our new RO water causes the manganese buildup in the lines to release, which may become more visible (as black flakes) in town water as they flush the lines. If you notice your water seems dirty, or has black flakes, just run water until clear.
