In an effort to help make Halloween Trick-or-Treating a safe, fun experience for the town, we are asking residents who are planning to hand out candy to post an orange pumpkin on the front door to let the kids know your house is participating. Paper Pumpkins are available at the Town Office.
We understand that this is a very different year with Covid-19 worries, and that not everyone is comfortable opening their door and having contact with trick-or-treaters. We are asking parents and caregivers to please explain the orange pumpkin to your kids and let them know if there is no pumpkin, that they can just skip that house!
Melissa Richmond has started a Trick-or-Treat map with participating houses, you can contact her on Facebook, more information is on the Waldheim Community Events facebook page. You can also call the Town Office to have your house added.
Copies of the map will be available on Facebook, at the Town Office and at the Co-op Gas Station on October 30th.
