As the Town of Waldheim prepares to assume operations of the former Waldheim Regional Park in 2027, we are inviting residents and area residents to submit ideas for a new name for the park.
For many years, the park has been an important recreation destination for both the Town of Waldheim and the surrounding area. It has provided opportunities for recreation, community gatherings, camping, and golf, creating memories for generations of residents and visitors.
As we look to the future, we would like a name that reflects the park’s identity, history, natural setting, and its continued role as a gathering place for the community and region.
We welcome creative suggestions from residents of all ages.

Naming Process
The Town welcomes all suggestions. Submitted names will be reviewed and considered as part of the naming process; however, submission of a name does not guarantee it will be selected. The final park name will be determined by Town Council.
