There is still time to take part in this year’s Light Up the Park celebration.
Sponsoring a tree means selecting and decorating a designated park tree as part of the Light Up the Park display. Families, businesses, organizations, and community groups are invited to create a festive display and help make Waldheim’s parks shine throughout the holiday season.
A limited number of trees are still available in both parks. Available trees are shown in blue on the maps below.
If you’ve been thinking about participating, now is a great time to reserve your tree before all locations are spoken for. Whether you’re creating a family display, promoting your business, recognizing an organization, or honouring a loved one, your decorated tree becomes part of a community tradition enjoyed by residents and visitors throughout the season.
To reserve your tree, please visit our Tree Sponsorship Information page.
Thank you to the many families, businesses, and organizations that have already signed up and are helping make Light Up the Park a success.
View the maps below to see which trees are still available.
Returning sponsors: If you decorated a tree last year but have not yet confirmed your participation for 2026, please let us know by visiting the Light Up the Park – 2026 – Participation Information page as soon as possible. Trees that are currently being held for returning sponsors are shown as pending on the map. We would love to have you participate again this year.
